Claire and Oscars story

Claire from Nantwich had been planning on getting a puppy for months; she had chosen a recommended breeder and had seen the prospective parents. She really wanted to do everything the right; she had read many books and tried to gain as much information as possible before she bought her first puppy home. Claire was recommended by a friend to use the Sounds Sociable CD to help socialise her puppy to the sounds that he would be likely come into contact though out his life and to help prevent the development of sound phobias later on in life. Claire visited our website and purchased the Sound Sociable CD, she read though the booklet that accompanies the CD and decided she wanted to start with the cd s early as possible. She contacted her breeder who also agreed to use the CD with the litter of puppies from day one. Claire had decided that this way she knew that her puppy would have the best start. Claire picked her puppy up at 8 weeks old after weekly visits while he was still with his mum. She named him Oscar and continued with the house training her breeder had started, along with continuing to use the CD for a further two months after she brought Oscar home until he reached the stage where Oscar showed no reaction to any of the noises on the CD, even when played at a high volume. Claire kept the CD and continued to use it every now and again just to ensure Oscar still showed no fear reaction to any of the noises. Oscar is now 12 months old and has grown into a very well socialised and settled dog. Claire said she would recommend the CD to anyone who is getting a puppy and her breeder is also now using the product with all her litters.
